For the security of our clients objects, our studio address is not supplied on this website. Our studio is based outside the town of Macksville in the Nambucca Valley, NSW, Australia. Thirty minutes drive from Nambucca Heads situated south of Coffs Harbour and north of Port Macquarie.

We receive the majority of objects by post, preferably registered. Objects are posted to us from all over the world. Posted objects make it easier for the studio to remain uninterrupted

How To Send Object To Us

IMPORTANT - Do Not Post Objects To The Studio Without Prior Confirmation!
April 2011 - We Are Not Accepting Objects For Restoration At This Time.

Packing DO'S & DON'TS

Packing should use bubble wrap, white tissue paper, plain kitchen towel, polystyrene chips and strong cardboard.
Do not use sticky tape on the body of the object, as it may remove glaze and gilding.
Do not use newspaper or coloured tissue paper, as dyes & inks can stain the object, especially shards and body edges.
Attempting to fit broken pieces together may damage glaze edges, wrap them separately.

Pack the object, following the above packing criteria.
Include your details, Packing Slip , Restoration Request
Make sure you have paid online [Paypal or Credit Card] for the studio assessment fee or to include a cheque to cover the studio assessment fee. Cheques are to be made payable to 'The Blue Tongue Studio'

Post the object and we will notify you when the object arrives via email.

We will assess the object for restoration and submit you with an estimate as to the costs of repair.

The Blue Tongue Studio is managed by a Mr. Andrew Goodfellow, a professional restorer from England. Qualified in the art of conservation & restoration Mr. Goodfellow holds a Diploma Of Fine Arts In Ceramics, highlighted by the NSW TAFE State Medal.
